When you drop your student off at school, you can rest assured that they are being well taken care of! We take great measure to make sure students and their belongings are safe and secure in our homes, and provide services to ensure the home remains well maintained throughout the semester. In addition students can access many services provided by the college just steps from their front door.
Safety in Our Homes
We take every measure to ensure safety in our homes. We begin with a careful tenant screening process where all tenants are required to have guarantors backing them. Ours houses are secured with coded locks on the front door that automatically lock after there door has been shut, and each student has a lock on their bedroom door as well. Direct Detect 24/7 fire monitoring is installed in every home with real time connection to local emergency services. Home inspections are conducted monthly to ensure that health and comfort is maintained for everyone in the home. Students have access to several communication networks with which to reach out to the landlord in case an emergency or concern should arise.
Cleanliness and Maintenance

We provide monthly cleaning services at no extra charge and have professional staff on call to handle any maintenance needs in a timely manner. Students are given access to our TenantCloud app where they can directly report any issues in the home, submit a request for maintenance and track the status of their request and it is resolved.

Safe Walk
Staying out late studying? No problem! You never have to worry about your student getting home safe with Conestoga’s safe walk service. Security and volunteers are available 24/7 who will not only escort students across campus, but because of Gatehouse Properties convenient close proximity to school, will also walk students right to their front door!
